tomorrow is and will be a new start, so i cant help but feel emotional. now's the time to sit down and think about the future, like what steps do you want to take next, what kind of future do you want to have and what everything means to you.

many things have changed and will continue to. idont know, maybe cos im a slow person. i just cant help clinging onto the past, relishing the present.
im not so sure of the future, that is why im fearful.
fearful of who i will become and who will i be, will i be a person who commands respect from people, or be despised for my failure.

there are so many a times where we make friends easily and forget them as easily as well. i want to ctach up with them but im afraid of what they will think of me. and facebook just makes it worse, filled with happy pictures, slapping you in the face that they are doing very well even without you.
no, im not emoing. im just reflecting. there's so many things i want to hold on to but at the same time i only have 2 hands. we can only take so much and give so much.

i hate it when i only get hit by the inspiration lightbulb AFTER the event itself.
it's freaking annoying. like i always suffer from a brainblock at the crucial moment. like one i just experienced. had to think of captions for my ihpc entries.

jiaqi and i decided to walk without shoes from the school to the interchange!
it was raining super heavy and i didn't want to wet my shoes for 2 days in a row.
so aha! *tink* why not take them off? :D but jiaqi's shoes were wet already so not much difference. (LOL)

so it ended up being a refreshing/romatic/avoiding-stones-on-ground walk, which was real nice after brain draining in audi from chem. like the rain washes off the stress! hahaha (:

oh oh and somehow we're diong more practicals recently and so much much more interesting than the ones we did last year like food test. food test??!

lol was reminded of this idiom by ms ho today during byron lesson, which coincidentally has the same surname as my p3 chinese teacher who wrote this on my autograph book. haha yes those were the times when you still had autograph book and write silly poems and messages 4 u 2 c. ahahha. oh and not to forget rating of friends which unfortunately yours truly is guilty of. haha :D

CNY is coming and my room is still in a mess D: going to do last minute cleanup tml.
teehee. speaking of which, we're supposed to wear home clothes to school on wed ??! what the shitttt, i dont want to ! i still want to go back to my secondary school on wed and very much prefer to wear my aj uniform :D

Hello, the new intakes for year 2011 are in. and things aren't exactly pleasant.
It feels as though they suck up the whole entire place and the school's overflowing with the noise they make. Bet that's what the seniors felt last year about us. O:

i just wish people aren't so superficial. and hello why is aj labelled a mugger school? as if they don't mug in other schools. =.

i know im not supposed to be here but, who cares. im already here. It's only week 2 of school, yet i sense that im burning up. NOT GOOD D:

So apparently, we lost 5 members of our class, which means 20% ?!!! It's kind of demoralising.

Oh and we had PE lessons today and we had our first outdoor running- on track since school started. Rain had saved us previously. The 2 good things were :

1) no more running in the hall like hamsters
2) fresh air and burning more calories

but the 3 sets 10Xpull-ups, 20Xtuck jumps and 20Xsit-ups was totally exhausting.
my legs felt like jelly when i stood up after peer-tutoring.

which made me swore that i won't eat jelly today.
AHAHAHAH.

heyyy im back from taiwan! HEHE :D but then again, i was back on christmas eve :P
taiwan is beautiful, the weather's is a hundred times better than humid singapore.
pretty people everywhere too. too bad i lost a pair of shoes i wore only once D:

& taiwan's one place i wish i could go with my friends. can't wait till then (:

ate 2 shiling extrabig chicken!! shared with my sister and parents though.

Oh and i went for guitar concert yesterday.

fell sick on the last day of school.
how lucky -.- maybe i should change my surname to heng. like ht.

so i spent my last day of school wallowing in self pity instead of going out. which is major upsetting. even my dad went " eh you didn't go out on your last day of school?" talk about adding salt to the wound. :O

this reminds me of a similar episode that happened earlier this year.
i was sick just before school started. so i spent my last few days of a free kid in bed. while shirley maureen and clarice went out to have fun.

was there at 545 you see. half an hour was gone and i had to endure the weird gazes people were giving me. or maybe im just paranoid. but there was this survey girl (who looked like she wanted to come over but didn't) who kept looking over her shoulders.

So, today was my last official lesson at nafa.
feeling kinda empty.
now i would be free on my sunday=more time to study=(Y)

the zzz thing is, my family is rejoicing over the fact that im quitting nafa.

Okays, so my family went to the zoo last Saturday.
turned out to be an awesome day, since it was all bright and shiny.

so, she basically organised sales of handicapped people, with the products they make, ranging from necklaces, notepads, greeting cards, etc.
personally i bought a bookmark which i thought was real nice (Y)

as we were interviewing her, she was recounting on the problems they face, like not having enough sales, having to worry about rental, taxi fares for the disabled people(comfortdelgro gave some vouchers but they're not enough), how without these sponsors they wouldn't be able to carry on. meanwhile she looked extremely tired. i wonder if she carried on giving, who would help her? like if you gave too much, you'd left nothing for yourself and gradually grow tired rights.

This sounds like a very very non-sentimental statement but i think it's the easiest to identify with.

Anyway, I watched the live telecast of late Dr Goh Keng Swee's funeral service
(is that what you call it?)
& i felt inspired, somehow or another.
made me feel that education is worthwhile afterall.
i've been pondering about what im studying can be applied.
and he said something like " These are not important for your job, what is important is that you do your best at tasks given to you and then in the future you will be the one giving the tasks"
(well, he said that to his grandson but i thought it was applicable to me. haha)
and it sort of relieved me because not the most academically intelligent people will be the only ones that are successful. i think character matters a lot as well.

but not before i breezed through FOX and saw this Tinkerbell cloth tote.

spent a long and edit:gratifying 45 minutes there trying pens and stuff.
in the end i bought 2 chocolate cereal bars for my fat sis
and a pen and a cool,clickable highlighter(after much trying LOL)
i have an insatiable desire for color pens. HAHA just kidding.

and then i went back home..
(on the way i past by a real nice reddish pink wallet from carlo rino which i gasped at the price)
(and not not forgetting to mention the Tinkerbell tote. LOL)

at the interchange i bought a japanese umbrella.
the auntie was nice enough to give me a discount of 90 cents. LOLOL.
took me and another auntie some time before we decided on which design.
but i guess the umbrella will eventually be used my my mother.
unless i stuffed it in my bag first. :D
(that's not really the point but, yea :D )
and my sis said it was ugly ))):
but then again she says that to everything i buy.
so i refuse to buy any clothes now.
traumatised*

-oh and i bought my lecture pad as well ($2)

So in total i spent: $ 52.70 + transport fee of ~ $2 = $55

i have this sudden impulse to blog.
anyway, just wanted to 'pen' down my thoughts.

today was an eventful day.

Had PE today and ran 8 rounds.
started by running with sherry but failed
in the end i exchanged partners with brenda.
it's just HUITING la.

tried singing while running. i think it helps.

OH i was called up to present my GP answers/ideas.
it's been a while since the teachers called my name.
HAHA.

was nodding off in lectures.
didnt have much sleep yesterday.

oh ya and i bought aloe vera yougurt after lunch today.
while sitting on the bench and randomly talking to jiaqi and huiting
a bird literally SWOPPED over my head.
it's like WTH.
what if remains of its waste materials land on my head.

Yesterday was horrible.
I measured 40.0 on the thermometer! o.o
then i realised it might be due to the fact that i just drank warm water.
so i quickly drank lots of cool water and managed to bring the fever down to 39.4.
that's scary ok! x.x

The worst thing is my appetite's gone! (more like taste buds gone wrong)
everything my mom cooks smells so wonderful and yet when it enters my mouth it actually taste like crap. T.T

tomorrow's the day that we shall all know which school we are going.
I'm definitely worried. :O

Called the dentist in the afternoon cos i wanted to put braces. :D
then they say earliest appointment is 10 march.
and then i realised that school holidays only starts on the 12 march.

While some of us were busy partying away in the start of a brand new 2010, she was taken away. She was so young, so bright, so beautiful. Death came too soon, way too soon. Phone calls were made in the middle of the night, each one sadder than the other. I didnt have a chance to say goodbye. Facebook became a living torture. there's just too many photos. the last time i saw her was at the wedding. and i didnt even take individual photo with her..

She was such a jewel to all of us. Yes, we weren't exactly extremely close but she's still family.

Yet another busy day. Woke up at 7 and spent my entire morning at NAFA.
Class Presentation. Sth like open class (but large scale)
Danced sui yue ru ge for the last time! (FINALLY!-4 years leh!)

Okays, i just spent my afternoon on the computer watching Confessions of a Shopaholic. HAHA. Anyway, i thought the green scarf was nice. :D And it was incredible that Bex had 12 credit cards. and another in the fridge that is frozen in ice. It went really fast, in my opinion. Mostly cause i didnt accomplish much.

Class barbeque on Monday.

Went out with maureen before that. :DD

talked a little. didnt watch any movie in the end.

lost a dollar :( mostly to jinglin. and alvin.

Went to school for dance on Tuesday. with jocelyn! :D

Packed the filthy, dusty storeroom. had difficulty breathing.

ate lunch and jocelyn taught me chemistry!(my super not confident subject)

Rotted at home on Wednesday.

Went Orchad Ion for the first time on Thurday.

i want to train!! even if its tiring. having abs is cool.

Anyway, i was wondering if i should continue dancing after secondary school.
I think i shall. and go for NAFA if only i got $$.
shall take the grade 10 exam before i decide further. i havent got any certificate yet! all becos they cancelled the yearly exam and made it only for the last grade of the level. So now i have to wait another year. i hope i improve in time. :D
